My husband and I went there for the first time and it was amazing!! So amazing that we brought my mother in law and our daughter back in the same week! The atmosphere and the service was amazing!! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Our waitress Kylie was amazing!! It started raining and she moved us inside without any disruption in service! And the food!!!! Omg! Everything we tried was amazing! Have to try the Philly cheesesteak loaded!! BOMB!!

Visiting from out of town, our group of eight, including two kids and our two dogs, had an unforgettable dining experience at Town Tavern BR, hands-down the best meal of our vacation! We savored every moment on the patio under perfect weather, and our waitress, Gracie M, was absolutely phenomenal—warm, attentive, and ensuring every detail was flawless. The food was extraordinary, with the 24 smoked wings with dry rub I ordered stealing the show. These wings were beyond incredible—perfectly smoked, irresistibly tender, and bursting with a dry rub so flavorful they’re easily the best I’ve ever tasted. I’m still thinking about them (probably the reason I'm writing this review)! My mom’s BLT with sweet potato waffle fries was a solid, satisfying pick. My girlfriend’s Caesar salad with shrimp was massive, with perfectly cooked shrimp that wowed us. My sister’s buffalo chicken salad was large, fresh, and deliciously bold. My aunt’s steakhouse burger initially lacked A1 sauce, but Gracie quickly brought some, making it a hit. My other aunt’s mushroom garlic Swiss burger was juicy and packed with flavor. The kids split a Tavern burger with French fries, devouring every bite, which says it all. The patio was ideal for our group and dogs, enhancing the relaxed vibe. Gracie’s exceptional service and those phenomenal wings made this meal a highlight of our trip. Town Tavern BR, you’ve set the bar high, and we can’t wait to return!

Loved my first visit to The Town Tavern! Though it was busy inside on a winter day, we were fortunate to be seated immediately. It's a cozy, friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Service was very prompt. Lots of menu choices! We ordered the French Onion soup, which was excellent! Plenty of tender onions and large, broth-soaked croutons underneath a perfectly baked and browned Gruyere cheese topping. Every spoonful was a treat. Also really enjoyed the Patty Melt sandwich. The burger patty itself was particularly tasty, and combined with the Swiss cheese, grilled onions and perfectly crusted Texas Toast, all I can say is it didn't stay on the plate for very long. The fries were hot, also had a great crunch and came in a good size portion. Excellent experience all around. Can't wait to return!

The food is okay, but the vibe and service were A. Our server was attentive and friendly. The live music was excellent. 100% repeatable.

I've been eating here for years and I've never had a bad experience. The food and service are consistently excellent. My favorite dish is the chicken tacos. Their burgers are also excellent as well as the fish and chips. I recommend sitting on the outside patio.

Nice bar to grab a bite and have an adult beverage. Decent selection of beers and a good selection of typical bar food available. The potato salad is pretty good, despite not having mustard, and the Philly and French dip have a lot of meat. A little more cheese wouldn't hurt but they were quite good.

This is the absolute best place to come in Blowing Rock. Drinks are great, food is the best, and the service is amazing. We always sit at the bar when there’s a seat available and GRACIE the bartender is the absolute best. She is very attentive, perfect personality for being behind the bar, and does an all around fantastic job no matter how busy she is! She definitely deserves a raise and a promotion that’s for sure
